The concept of essence of the person in philosophy of I.A.Il’in

In the paper the views of Russian philosopher I.A.Il’in on one of major problems of the history of philosophy of the XX century – problem of the person – are considered. The original understanding by the philosopher of essence of the person is emphasized. Views of I.A.Il’in on reasons of cultural crisis in the XX century are also analyzed in the paper.

I.A.Il'in: The metaphysical foundation of human life

The paper is dedicated to reviewing of problems of human life by original Russian philosopher of the РҐРҐ century I.A. Il'in, and the major attention has been paid to the metaphysical grounds of the universe and the man. The author has considered the thinker's comprehension of the following problems: the essence of philosophy, its indissoluble connection with life of the people, necessity of philosophical knowledge for solution of basic problems of life, the major role of morality in life of the man has been underlined. In the paper the connection of anthropologic, ontological and metaphysical problems has been analyzed; the ideas of the philosopher about the man nature and his correlation with the absolute have been studied.

I.A. Il'in about main antagonisms of human being

The paper considers anthropological aspect of the Russian philosophy worked out by N.V. Shelgunov. The thinker represented the model of progressive person combining not only active social activity but rather productive economic activity as well. The author has drawn a parallel between works of Shelgunov and the work of S.N. Bulgakov "Philosophy of Economy".
